New DIY sketchbook

I have finished my new sketchbook. I was never excited that much with sketchbooks and actually I never found something that I really liked, so I ended up buying simple ones. All I cared was about blank pages. But then I was watching random videos on youtube and then I saw a DIY JOURNAL video. After that I thought, why shouldn't I make my own sketchbook?   

Of course I have never attempted to create a book before basically because of the bookbinding. It seemed so difficult and time consuming. But I was determined that I should try to make one. I used my hot glue gun, paper, an old 2010 journal I had, some printed photos and my pen. It was easy but time consuming as well. I kept sewing and sewing and sewing all these pages together. It almost took me 40 minutes to sew them. I didn't sew them perfectly but i didn't mind because that part would be hidden anyway!  here it is!




And now I have my own homemade unique sketchbook. It's so nice to create things and actually put them in use. I would really suggest everyone to make it, it's really not that difficult. I loved the process and I had the chance to decorate it as I liked! You could also make ''inside pockets'' for small drawings. I didn't, because i I don't believe I'll need them.
